Firstly, a very Happy New Year to all our customers from all of us here at STC Ltd!!
We are very excited to be back in 2012, and we anticipate some great things for this year. We are currently in the process of becoming NPORS accredited for all our Mobile Plant Training. We have found that a lot of sites are now asking for the NPORS standard, so it's something that is currently in motion. We hope to be able to offer NPORS mobile plant training within the next couple of months. We are also still keeping our ITSSAR accreditation as well, so this will give you, the customer, the option of which course you prefer. We'll keep you posted!!
We are also going to hopefully be making some changes to our website in the near future...we hope to add a page where customers' apprasials can be seen so you can see exactly what current customers think of the training that we have done for them, and the high standards that we always adhere to. Also, we are going to hopefully add a page where you can 'meet the team'. This will hopefully all be in place by the summertime.
The ECITB are slightly changing the format in which CCNSG Safety Passports are issued - they are going to be photographic plastic (almost credit card like) passports, that the ECITB issue directly to the customer after STC Ltd carries out the training. We are still awaiting the finer details regarding this - it's planning to be implemented in March/April time. Details will follow.

We have managed to get some dates scheduled for all you early birds out there that are thinking about training in the New Year! January dates for all CCNSG Safety Passport Courses are available (see above). IOSH Managing Safely dates to follow shortly.
October 2011 - Last Chance Saloon!!!
It's that time of year again when Christmas is rapidly approaching, which along with the usual festive cheer means only one thing here at STC Ltd, it's very VERY busy!!
Customers are beginning to realise that as 2011 draws to an end they still haven't done the training that they promised themselves at the beginning of the year. So this inevitably means lots of frantic phone calls and last minute bookings! We have very limited availability now where trainers have days free this year, and places on our open courses are booking up very quickly indeed.
We only have limited availability left on most of our CCNSG courses and on the last 4 day IOSH Managing Safely Course of 2011 on Monday 21st - Thursday 24th November.
Please don't leave it any longer - we hate to dissapoint. Get your courses booked now!

Peter has now completed his Mini Digger Training, and is a fully qualified instructor for Mini Digger 360 - up to 5 tonne.
The Mini Digger course is 2 days duration for novice delegates, or 1 day duration for delegates with plenty of experience/renewals. Please feel free to call the office for availability or any other further information that you may require we are always more than happy to help!

Peter has recently successfully completed his NVQ Level 4 in Health and Safety.

This week, STC Ltd has installed a card machine to accept all major Credit/Debit cards. We have recently had to implement a policy in which if you don't have an account with STC Ltd then you need to pay IN ADVANCE to reserve your place on our courses. This is because unfortunately, STC has recently had people booking places on our courses and then not showing up. Thus taking up valueable space that other delegates are desperate for. If you wish to make a booking/payment please contact us at the office - 01777 711100.

Peter Pattinson - the Managing Director here at STC Ltd has completed a CDM Co-Ordinator Course under the CDM 2007 Regulations. This will now allow him to be a fully qualified CDM Co-Ordinator on sites across the UK.
